Addicted to the Beans

Addicted to the Beans is a collaborative art practice founded by Oswald Stocker and Alex Williams, centred on their shared obsession with beans. Their work explores many themes and media, but above all, the creative opportunites that arise from close collaboration.

Alex and Oswald’s creative partnership is rooted in a long history of teamwork and shared experiences. Having met at school, they bonded over shared classes and their commitment to rowing, both earning recruitment spots at Princeton. During their third year of university, after taking gap years at different times, they reunited and chose to live together. They applied to the Visual Arts program as a collaborative duo and were the first-ever to be accepted.
